Tommy Walking

Yeah... At 11 months the monster is walking about 1/2 the time. His confidence has grown in the last week considerably. He still does his spider walk and crawls occasionally and you should see him climb a flight of steps!!

Bail Out???

Just a few things on my mind...

Cub Scouts - As it stands right now tonight William will begin his career as a Scout by attending the Pack 136 meeting tonight... More to come

Chevy Treverse - I've been looking at this car for a few weeks (b/f the commercials) as a replacement for the Pacifica. The gas mileage (claim) of 24 mpg hwy is outstanding. Seats 8. Hate to buy a car in it's first model year but it's a sister to the Arcadia, Enclave and whatever the Saturn version is... This could be our next car. Let me know what you think about the Treverse.

If you make $50,000,000 a year and have stock options worth as much or more and drive your company into the ground, you should LOSE YOUR JOB and maybe go to jail plus consider giving back the coin. You deserve a brick as a parachute... the gold should go to the share holders.

If you make the policies that allow people to make $50,000,000, run a company into the ground the politically position yourself to be on the "right" side you should consider bailing out your career. Main St saving Wall St?

A point of clarification... I am traditionally very conservative. I understand that this bail out is important to "saving the global economy" but I also believe there should be consequences for your actions. If you screwed up, maybe the taxpayers should bail your (public) company out. But from my side of the street, I wouldn't put the money back into the hands of the folks that made the mistake to begin with, rewarding poor performance.

Jazmin is heading out of town for two days and leaving me with the three kids. Will and Melissa will be fine but Tommy.... at 11 months and nearly walking you can't take an eye off of him for a moment. Throw in a couple flag football games and a "pumpkin patch visit" and we're gearing up for an interesting weekend.

If you live in S. Florida does that make you an expert on Cuba? If you live in Detroit does that make you an expert on Canadian affairs? I didn't think so. So what is Palin talking about? And just for the record, what is Biden talking about? Clinton would be a better running mate. The next few week will be interesting. It's nice to not live in a battle ground state for once.
